Next Thursday episode of Grey’s Anatomy is full
of tension. In the last episode we finally found that everyone has passed the
board except April Kepner. Well that means that some of the residents may leave
Seattle Grace-Mercy West Hospital.
The resident celebrate they’ve passed the
board. Some of them are still getting new offers from other hospitals. But what’s
happen with April? She failed the boards so some of the hospitals that offered
her a job are pulled her offer. Everyone is worried about her future, specially
Jackson.
Meredith and Derek, they’re having problems.
Derek wants to move to Boston because he has family on the East coast and Harvard
made him a huge offer. While, Meredith wants to stay in Seattle because if
Cristina moves to California she’ll be only two hours by plane; also because
Lexie will be living in Seattle. This
doesn’t look good. If Derek and Meredith move to Boston that would mean they
won’t be on season 9. But if that happens Grey’s Anatomy wouldn’t make sense, unless
we consider that Lexie is also a Grey.
What about Mark and Lexie? In the last episode
Lexie told Mark she loves him but we couldn’t see his reaction because Mark’s
girlfriend showed up just after that. Such a beautiful and emotional scene, it
was just
what Lexie and Mark fans wanted.
Big spoiler season finale! Jesse Williams has
confirmed that someone is going to die. It will be a hard loss, but there is no
Grey’s Anatomy season finale without tears.
In this episode the residents take their boards. Apparently they all
have a really bad time. The boards have three parts of 30 minutes with breaks
of 10 minutes between them
Meredith has stomach flu so during the exam she’s answering the questions
she’s trying not to throw up in front of the examiners. At the end of each round
Meredith goes to the restroom to throw up but at the final round she can’t make
it and she throws up in front of the examiners.
Cristina answers everything correctly but her examiner, an old doctor,
thinks that her procedures are too risky. Then Cristina argues with him because
he prefers old procedures while Cristina chooses others more innovative and
less invasive.
Jackson has to deal with the fact that his mother has slept with Webber,
yes his mother who is at the next room laughing out loud and distracting
Jackson.
April is very nervous and she’s really worried because she has broken
her promise to God. But apparently it doesn’t
stop her for having sex with Jackson again during one of the breaks. She begins
to sweat and she makes a fool of herself.
Alex, in the last episode we are left to wonder if Alex would have arrived in time to
the exam. Well he gets
to the exam but he misses the first round so he has to do perfect at the
others. At the last one the examiner makes him a tricky question and he answers
it wrong but he realizes of it and changes the answer, but the examiner doesn’t
take as a good answer.
Meanwhile at the Seattle Grace Hospital Callie
and Arizona have a new patient, an old friend of Arizona. This man has cancer
which turns out to be inoperable, then Arizona gets very angry with him because
he hadn’t told her about the cancer for six years.
Mark’s girlfriend asks him to have a baby
together but Mark is speechless. Mark ask Derek for advice but he doesn’t know
how to give a good piece of advice. Then Lexie finds out about it and she
starts freaking out. Derek ask Bailey to help him at advising and she recommend
him using metaphors. Derek isn’t very sure about it but when Meredith called
him with an exam crisis he just says: “the exam is a mirror”. Finally, at the
end of the episode there is a beautiful scene; Lexie tells Mark she loves him. We
don’t know Mark’s reaction because his girlfriend appears at the last moment. I
wish Lexie and Mark will be back together, they are so perfect together.
Here is the scene:
At the end of the episode we finally see who
has failed the board. And who is it? April Kepner.
The episode begins with a nervous and cautious Rachel who is getting
ready for the biggest moment of her life, NYADA auditions. She has picked Don’t
rain on my parade for her audition, she wants to play safe. The other NYADA
applicant, Kurt, is having problems picking the perfect song he between a safe
choice the song Music of the night or
an original but risky song Not the boy
next door. Rachel advises him to pick the safe choice. Carmen Tibideaux
(Whoopi Goldberg) the dean of NYADA is the judged of the auditions. At the last
moment in order to impress Tibideaux, he decides to sing another song and he do
and amazing performance of Not the boy next door.
At the big moment Kurt is perfect, he sing a risky song but like he says
“it much more like him”. Tibideaux congratulates him for such a good
performance and practically gives Kurt his ticket to NYADA.
Rachel goes next. Unfortunately her audition is a disaster, she choked
on her performance. This is a really shocking and sad scene, everyone was sure
that Rachel will nail that song but life
isn’t as fair as we think and Rachel
forgets the words. As Lea Michele said in an interview: “choke is the fear
which every actor lives with, it doesn’t matter if you had performed that song
a thousand times, these things happens”. After that Rachel sings Cry. It’s such a heartbroken
scene in which we can see Rachel’s pain; it’s so sad but Lea Michele has this
incredible voice that left me speechless.
Another big storyline of the episode is Puck’s. He sees his father again
after five years. Puck’s father is back in town to borrow his son some money
and Puck let him part of the money he has save for his pool business because he
doesn’t want to see his father again. But Puck has another problem he doesn’t
think he will graduate and he thinks school isn't for him so he sings School's out.
Finn and the rest of the glee boys help Puck to study
so he can pass the geography test he needs to graduate. They stay up all night
and the sing The rain in Spain. Next
day Puck takes the test but he fails it. What does it mean? Isn’t Puck
graduating? I don’t think so.
Coach Beiste shows up with a bruise on her eye and Santana makes a funny
comment of it and the rest of the glee girls laugh of it. Coach Roz Washington
and Sue try to teach the girl that abuse isn’t a joke and they ask the girls to
perform a song about this topic. Santana, Mercedes, Tina, Brittany and Sugar
perform Cell block tango, such an amazing performance everyone looks sexy but
they cut Sugar’s part which I think it’s a bad idea.
This song isn’t the right
song for this situation but finally coach Beiste tells that it was her husband
who hits her. Coach Washington and Sue encourage her to leave him and at the
end of the episode coach Beiste moves out with her sister. Then she tells the
truth to the glee girls and they sing Shake it out, a beautiful and moving song
to show coach Beiste their support. Santana, Mercedes and Tina are incredible
amazing at this song, they totally nail it, even better than in Cell block
tango.
This week episode was so sad I really hate see Rachel like this, it
sucks. It looks like Rachel won’t get into NYADA, does it mean her New York
dreams are over?
Order on stage: Mike, Quinn, Mercedes, Puck, Santana, Kurt, Finn, Rachel. The extras all behind them and the glee club gets diplomas last
because that would happen in the real world.
It seems
that Brittany isn’t graduating. I’m not a 100% sure of this source but here is
another proof:
She’s not
even at the Glee-duation photo. The only people missing at this photo is her
and he juniors.
Well I
must be honest, I’m not really surprised. First of all I’m a big fan of
Brittany and Brittana but come on it’s Brittany, she the one that thinks that
the capital of Ohio is O and that the president is Will.i.am; she even recognized
on episode 4 of season 3.
It’s a
shame that Brittany isn’t graduating but let’s be positives Gleeks. That could
means that Heather Morris would be on season 4.
Wait a
second, there is something wrong on this. Why the senior class president isn’t
graduating?
However,
this is not sure; anything is possible until the episode is released.
gran cantante y no necesita usarlo. Por otro lado la versión de la canción que
salió hace unos meses no incluía ningún arreglo como este.
De todas formas, he de decir que el video está muy bien
aunque creo que Shakira tiene videoclips mejores, enhorabuena Shakira.
It’s said
that Glee season 3 is being “the Blaine, Santana and Rachel show” while some
other characters like Tina are being ignore. Well is true that they are singing
a lot this season but wait a minute and let’s think about it.
Rachel: It’s not
unusual having Rachel singing in every episode, it’s been always this way,
since the first episode of Glee it’s rare not having a Rachel performance
(either a solo or a duet). And I’m totally ok with that Lea Michele has a great
voice and I can’t imagine why people don’t want to see her perform.
Blaine: He is
singing a lot on this season. Recently there was an episode about Blaine and
his brother where he performed in three songs. Since his first appearance in
episode 6 of season 2, he has become one of the more popular characters of
Glee; maybe because he is the best male singer or because his cute bright green
eyes. I don’t know he got something. But I have to admit that we’re having so
much Blaine on this season and maybe producers should let other characters
sing.
Santana: I
understand about Blaine or Rachel but I honestly don’t get what problem is with
Santana on the spotlight. Santana has been on Glee since the first episode and
she was completely ignored for the first season. She got her first solo in sectional
on season 2, Valerie, and she just
killed it. Yeah! Santana is one of my favorite characters because of her
amazing voice and because she might be mean but she is hilarious. Anyway I’m
happy to see that now she is one of the main characters and I prefer she
perform than other characters.
Now let’s
talk about those others characters are being ignored this season.
Tina: This
season she hardly had a storyline in this season. And I really miss her because
she has that great voice and she is so funny. Last time we heard her sing was
in episode 13, Hearts. But don’t
worry because Tina is back! Next episode, Choke,
includes two amazing performance in which Tina takes part.
